Established in 1990, Breastfeeding Hawai'i Began its journey as The Breastfeeding promotion Council of Hawai'i, serving breastfeeding families as a state, non-profit organization.
Today, Breastfeeding Hawai'i has grown into a federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to promote, protect and support breastfeeding within the State of Hawai'i through community outreach, advocacy, and education.
Research has shown that there is no better food than breastmilk to nurture babies.
Our vision is that breastfeeding be seen by our community and families as the normal natural way to nourish and nurture our infants
To promote, protect and support breastfeeding within the State of Hawaii through collaboration and organization of community efforts, outreach, legislation, policy change, education and advocacy.
